Description
DWH 311 FL is a low-viscosity 2-component fine adjustment and adhesive coating based on epoxy resin with aluminium fillers. It can be used for the positive and non-positive filling and bonding of parting lines on components, assemblies and parts made from various materials. You can also create complex shapes and structures with a precision in the μm range by means of casting, injection and moulding.
DWH 310 FL can be detached when using a micro-thin layer of diamond release agent on the opposite surface. The result is an exact copy of the moulded surface. It is not required to have a high-precision preparation of surfaces and their mechanical post-processing. In modern production technology, process times and costs can be significantly reduced.
Typical applications
- Positive and non-positive installation of guides in mechanical engineering,
- Adjusting lining for assemblies and elements made from a wide variety of materials.
- Full-surface padding of strips and elements as a replacement for lining plates.
- Load-bearing gap compensation on beams of portal milling and gantry systems
- μm-accurate casting of bushings, centering and guiding elements
- Fixing and / or centering of bearing bushes after high-precision alignment
- As a filling and composite material in 3D printing + additive manufacturing

Storage / Shelf Life
Make sure you store it in a dry, cool and frost-free place (+5°C to +20°C). It has a shelf life of 6 months. Keep it away from direct sunlight. Higher temperatures reduce the shelf life.
Preparation of the adhesion surface
The surfaces to be coated should be clearly roughened to improve adhesion. The peak-to-valley height should be 0.5 mm (Rt = 500 μm). For instance, you can produce the roughening with a high-feed cutter head on a milling machine. Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of grease and oil. To clean dirty surfaces, we recommend Diamant Triumph Cleaner #1417 or Diamant Triumph Cleaning Spray #1534. Surfaces where you do not want DWH to adhere should be coated with Release Agent #1354 or Release Spray #1355.
Mixing process
To mix DWH 311 FL, component B is completely added to the component A container. Mix intensively with a drill and the DIAMANT mixing propeller (prod. no. #0789) (max. 250 rpm for approx. 2 minutes). Scrape off any material sticking to the wall of the container with a spatula and add to the mixture. Mix thoroughly again.
Vent
Pour DWH 311 FL into a clean container in a long, thin, uninterrupted stream
Application Description
DWH 311 FL can be poured freely into the sufficiently large gap that is open at the top. Alternatively, DWH 311 FL can be injected through an inlet channel into the prepared, sealed cavity after it has been transferred to a hand-held cartridge. To avoid air pockets, the cavity is filled from the lowest point.
