Description
dichtol WFT Makro is a ready-to-use 1-component impregnation system based on a special polymer formulation. Due to the wide range of possible applications (brushing, spraying, injecting, dipping) dichtol WFT Makro enables the reliable impregnation of leaking components. Large pores (from 0.1 to 0.5mm) can be sealed with dichtol WFT Makro. This enables high pressure tightness, even with difficult object structures. In the case of locally known leaks, the selective impregnation ensures efficient use of materials. Long waiting and delivery times are also eliminated thanks to the direct application on site.

Storage / Shelf Life
Store in the original, unopened container in a dry, cool and frost-free place (+5°C to +30°C). Shelf life 5 years.
Processing / Preparation
Dirt residues, foreign bodies, grease and other substances must be completely removed from the pores to be sealed. For this we recommend the use of DIAMANT cleaner #1417.
Application
The object or application temperature should not exceed +40°C, otherwise the penetration of the polymer cannot be guaranteed 100%.
Brush & Spray
Apply dichtol thinly in 4 work steps at intervals of about 1 minute and keep the surface moist for at least 5 minutes. This allows dichtol to penetrate deep into the pores
Inject & Fill
Fill dichtol into the space to be sealed (e.g. blind hole, threaded hole, cooling channel, etc.) and leave to work for at least 5 minutes. Then vacuum/drain off excess material if necessary.
Dive
Completely immerse the component to be treated in dichtol. After an exposure time of approx. 10 minutes, the component can be removed from the container.
curing
dichtol WFT Makro dries physically in a few hours (approx. 1 hour per mm of wall thickness). Due to the rapid drying of sealing oil, it is possible to use the components again after a short time. See table “Technical data”.
